Tumblegum Sun Wear was inspired by a family vacation. When we traveled to Australia (where David grew up), we found children wore extra sun protection: hats, sun shirts and one piece surf suits to protect against the effects of the strong Australian sun. At a local surf shop we bought a “sun protective” one piece outfit for our son. He loved it and we had a terrific burn-free vacation.

We looked for similar clothing in the United States, but couldn’t find anything that met our expectations for attractive and functional design, and an active child’s need for comfort and durability.

After several years of hard work and research, we have developed a top quality line of children's sun-protective swimwear.
